Helsinki / FI. (prn) Lantmännen Unibake, a leading European supplier of frozen bread products, will expand globally in the coming year and now is taking the first step with the acquisition of the Finnish fast-food bakery Baco Oy. Lantmännen says it plans to increase export to the neighbouring Baltic countries and Russia.
Stockholm / SE. (lu) Lantmännen is selling its holding in Svenska Foder to Danish DLG and at the same time is increasing its holding in German HaGe Kiel. Lantmännen is also acquiring the Finnish fast food bakery Baco. Furthermore, the Board of Directors has decided to evaluate the divestment of Lantmännen Granngarden.
Stockholm / SE. (lu) Lantmännen´s corporate net turnover for 2007 amounted to 35.989 million Swedish Crowns (SEK), an increase of twelve percent compared with 32.256 million SEK in 2006. Operating profits for January to December amounted to 870 million SEK (183 million SEK), an increase of 375 percent.

Southport / AU. (rfg) Leading Australian retail food brand manager and franchisor Retail Food Group Limited RFG) announced a H1/2008 NPAT of 8,1 million AUD, representing a 107 percent increase on the 3,9 million AUD result for H1/2007.

(csm) According to Dutch food group CSM NV the benefits of the restructuring program became more visible in the second half of 2007, allowing CSM to overcome difficult market conditions.
