Stockholm / SE. (axf) This week Simone Margulies assumes the role as President and CEO of Sweden’s Axfood AB. She succeeds Klas Balkow, who previously has announced his decision to conclude his executive career. Most recently, Simone Margulies was Managing Director of Hemköpskedjan AB, and prior to that she had the role as Deputy CEO of Axfood’s purchasing and logistics company Dagab. In total, Simone has more than 18 years of experience in food retail.

In addition, Shoan Etemadi, formerly Deputy Managing Director and Head of Sales of Hemköpskedjan, assumes the role as new Managing Director of Hemköpskedjan.
