Stockholm / SE. (arm) Sweden’s Bastard Burgers Streetfood Company is taking its pure street food concept with smashed burgers, large vegan selection and focus on street culture to Norway and is looking forward to further establishments around the country.
«Opening our first restaurant outside of Sweden is a long-awaited milestone! We strongly believe in Norway and see that there is room for our concept all over the country, so it feels great to finally open in Oslo and get to know the Norwegians even better,» says Simon Wanler, CEO of Bastard Burgers.
After severe restrictions and closures, Oslo has reopened and Bastard Burgers’ new 325 square metres flagship restaurant is ready to welcome its first guests during the day.
«We’ve been ready to go since February, but we’ve decided to wait for the restrictions to be eased so we can have a more fun and better opening. We see a huge strength in the fact that guests can visit the restaurant to experience the whole experience – the food, the music, the service and the atmosphere,» says Simon Wanler, CEO of Bastard Burgers.
Another restaurant is planned for Oslo this year, where construction will begin on busy Torggata in the autumn. Björn Havden is the establishment manager and is constantly on the lookout for new exciting premises, locations and cities that suit Bastard Burgers.
In addition to the premiere in Oslo, the street food chain is also opening its 48th restaurant in Sweden, at Mobilia in Malmö.
