Minsk / BY. (ami) Agricultural economies of Belarus exceeded the limit of grain production of three million tonnes, declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the country. As of August 06, agricultural organizations of the country harvested 3,26 million tonnes of grains. Agrarian economies of Minsk oblast became the leaders of grain production and harvested 785 thousand tonnes. Agrarians harvested grains and leguminous plants (without maize) throughout 832 thousand hectares, which totaled 35 percent of harvesting areas. Brest oblast became the leader of the harvesting campaign rate sand harvested the half of own sowings. Agricultural economies of Grodno oblast showed the highest grain yield, which reached the level of 47,5 centner per hectare. The average yield in the country totaled 39,3 centner per hectare, up 2,4 centner per hectare compared to the same date of the previous year (source: agrimarket.info).
