California Pizza expands into Mexico

Los Angeles / CA. (cpk) California Pizza Kitchen Incorporated (CPK) says it opened its first restaurant in Mexico this days. The restaurant, located in a Mexico City mall, was opened by franchisee Grupo Calpik S.A. de C.V. In February, the two companies announced plans to open 15 restaurants in the country over the next ten years. There are 215 CPK restaurants in the United States. All but 32 are owned by the company (press release).
