DoorDash: Releases Fourth Quarter 2022 Financial Results

San Francisco / CA. (ddi) DoorDash’s mission includes promoting and strengthening the local economy. In 2022, the company was proud to generate more than 38 billion US-Dollar in revenue for local merchants and more than 13 billion US-Dollar in profit for Dasher, while Marketplace GOV grew 27 percent year over year to 53.4 billion US-Dollar. In Q4-2022, Marketplace GOV grew 29 percent year-over-year to 14.4 billion US-Dollar. Monthly active users (MAUs) grew to over 32 million in December from over 25 million a year ago, with year-over-year growth in DoorDash and Wolt MAUs. DashPass and Wolt+ membership grew to over 15 million at year-end from over 10 million a year ago.

In many ways, 2022 was unique and challenging. But similar to previous years, consumers have shown that they love convenient access to their favorite local merchants, dashers have shown that they value and appreciate the accessibility and flexibility that dashing provides, and local merchants have shown that they are eager for services that help them build and grow omnichannel businesses. The seamless marriage of physical and digital services in local commerce is far from complete, which means the company’s work is far from done. The company must continue to innovate and take risks if it is to achieve the goals it has for its business and the communities in which it operates.
