DoorDash: Releases Second Quarter 2021 Financial Results

San Francisco / CA. (ddi) DoorDash Inc., the largest on-demand logistics platform for door-to-door delivery in the U.S., announced financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2021. Revenue grew 83 percent year-over-year (y-o-y) to USD 1.2 billion. Total Orders grew 69 percent y-o-y to 345 million, and Marketplace GOV grew 70 percent y-o-y to USD 10.5 billion. GAAP gross profit of USD 657 million, increased 101 percent y-o-y from USD 327 million in Q2-2020. GAAP net loss of USD 102 million, compared to net income of USD 23 million in Q2 2020. Adjusted Ebitda of USD 113 million, increased 43 percent y-o-y from USD 79 million in Q2 2020, the company said in its financial statement.
