DuPont: Names President of Nutrition + Health Division

Wilmington / DE. (dp) E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company – DuPont – announced that it has named Matthias Heinzel, president, DuPont Nutrition + Health effective January 01, 2015, succeeding Craig F. Binetti who is retiring following 38 years of service to the company. «Craig has served as an outstanding business leader at DuPont. Throughout his career, he has had a talent for leading people, being a role model for our core values and generating business success», said DuPont Executive Vice President James C. Borel. «Craig has earned the deep trust and respect from all who worked with him over 38 years. We are deeply grateful for his years of leadership and service, and wish him all of the best. Matthias brings global business experience with a proven success record in building competitive advantage, setting strategy and direction and creating profitable growth. He will help drive the Nutrition + Health business as a leading food ingredients and food safety solutions provider to the food and beverages industries worldwide». Heinzel joined DuPont in 2003 following prior leadership roles in the telecommunications industry and at McKinsey + Company. Heinzel has held several business leadership roles in DuPont Imaging Technologies, Authentication and Packaging Graphics. In 2013 he was appointed global business director, Enablers, DuPont Nutrition + Health, where he has been leading significant business improvement.
