Helsinki / FI. (fg) Fazer Group builds for future and renews its organisation. The goal is to strengthen Fazer´s brands, to deeper understand consumers, and to create a new kind of co-operation with customers. This will be achieved by broader utilisation of know-how in the organisation. The new organisation consists of two business areas: the confectionery and bakery business, and Fazer Amica´s restaurant and service business. The management teams of the business areas and of the Group have been nominated. The nominations will become effective as of 01 January 2010.
Group Management Team
The following persons will continue in the Group Management Team with President and CEO Karsten Slotte with current or partly expanded areas of responsibility:
- Harri-Pekka Kaukonen, Director of the bakery and confectionery business area and Executive Vice President of Fazer Group
- Iris Karjula, Director of Fazer Amica business area
- Teija Andersen, Strategic marketing, brands and R+D
- Krister Friberg, Finance and Fazer Services
- Pekka Heinänen, HR
- Minna Huhtaniska, Legal Affairs
- Anne Mykkänen, Sourcing. In addition, she will be responsible for sourcing in the bakery and confectionery business area and thereby she will become member of the business area´s management team.
- Pertti Norjos, IT. In addition, he will be responsible for IT in the bakery and confectionery business area and thereby he will become member of the business area´s management team.
- Ulrika Romantschuk, Communications and Stakeholder relations. In addition, she will be responsible for communications in the bakery and confectionery business area and thereby she will become member of the business area´s management team.
New positions in the Group Management Team are:
- Markku Numminen, Strategic sales development. At present, Markku Numminen is the Managing Director of Fazer Bakeries division.
- Seppo Koivusaari, M+A and business development. At present, Seppo Koivusaari is VP, Finance of Fazer Bakeries.
Management Team of bakery and confectionery business area
The following persons have been nominated to join Harri-Pekka Kaukonen in the Management Team of the new bakery and confectionery business area:
- Maxim Bolshov, Country responsible: bakery business and confectionery sales in Russia. At present, he is responsible for sales and logistics in Hlebny Dom. (Harri-Pekka Kaukonen will continue as the Managing Director of Hlebny Dom for the time being.)
- Petri Kujala, Bakery business in Finland
- Tom Lindblad, Overall responsibility for the confectionery business, export (bakeries and confectionery). At present, Tom Lindblad is the Managing Director of Fazer Confectionery Finland.
- Per Sandberg, Country responsible: bakery business and confectionery sales in Sweden. At present, Per Sandberg is the Managing Director of Fazer Bakeries Sweden.
- Jesper Åberg, Country responsible: bakery business and confectionery sales in the Baltic countries. At present, Jesper Åberg is the Managing Director of Fazer Confectionery division.
- Ali Afsar-Nazari, Finance and business development and Fazer Mill and Mixes. At present, Ali Afsar-Nazari is the Development Director of Fazer´s operations in Sweden.
- Sirkku Erlandsson, Marketing and R+D. In addition, she will be in charge of Fazer´s brands. At present, Sirkku Erlandsson is the Managing Director of Fazer Confectionery Sweden.
- Jon Sundén, Supply chain. At present, Jon Sundén is the Supply Chain Director of Fazer Confectionery.
- Kenneth Söderholm, HR. At present, Kenneth Söderholm is the acting HR director for Fazer Bakeries and the HRD director for Fazer Group.
Also Anne Mykkänen, Pertti Norjos and Ulrika Romantschuk will be members of the Management Team.
Management team of Fazer Amica business area
The following persons will continue in Fazer Amica´s Management Team with Iris Karjula with current or partly expanded areas of responsibility:
- Jaana Korhola, Finland, business responsibility.
- Gunilla Rittgård, Sweden, business responsibility.
- Morten Hammerich, Denmark, business responsibility.
- Eva Kumlin, the Baltic countries and Russia, business responsibility.
- Ivar Villa, Norway, business responsibility.
- Juha Forsström, Fazer Restaurants, business responsibility.
- Maarit Piela-Liesalho, Marketing. In addition, she will be responsible for marketing in Fazer Amica Finland.
- Timo Ståhlström, Sourcing. In addition, he will be responsible for sourcing in Fazer Amica Finland.
- Laura Tarkka, Finance and Business development.
A new position and member in the business area´s Management Team is:
- Anita Laxén, Communications. In addition, she will be responsible for communication in Fazer Amica Finland. At present, Anita Laxén is the communications director of Fazer Confectionery.
