Helsinki / FI. (fg) Fazer Group opens four Gateau cafes across Arlanda Airport in partnership with SSP Group, a leading operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations. The cafes will be located at the Market Place and the F Pier at terminal 5, at Sky City and at terminal 2. Visitors and travellers alike will be able to enjoy an assortment of artisan bread and pastries inspired by traditional French baking. The offering will also include a light lunch menu. The cafés will open in the autumn.

The assortment of the artisan bakeries at Arlanda will consist of bread, pastries, Gateau’s own coffee and a limited range of fresh sandwiches and salads. The interior design concept is in line with Gateau’s other shops, featuring an inviting and warm interior environment with a blend of marble and dark wood. The new cafés at Arlanda are operated by SSP Group under a license agreement. Arlanda Airport is owned and operated by Swedavia.

Gateau is an artisan bakery from Stockholm with ancestry from 1937. The café chain bakes its bread according to traditional French recipes with sourdough, just like the chain’s role model Poilâne in Paris. Gateau’s pastries are inspired by the best French patisserie.
