Fox’s Biscuits: announces new appointment

Leeds / UK. (nf) The owner of Batley-based Fox´s Biscuits has announced a senior appointment. Northern Foods PLC, which also includes Goodfella´s pizza among its brands and supplies customers including Marks + Spencer, has named Andrew Booker as group finance director. Booker joins the Leeds-based firm on November 17 from Japan Tobacco International/Gallaher where he worked for three years as European finance director. The announcement comes just days after Northern Foods reported a 6,7 percent rise in revenue at the Fox´s bakery division following the success of an online advertising campaign to relaunch the Fox´s biscuit brand.
