(gs) British Greggs PLC, the leading bakery food-on-the-go retailer in the UK with currently 2,328 retail outlets throughout the country, is pleased to announce its preliminary results for the 52 weeks ended 31 December 2022. Total sales increased 23 percent on 2021 level to GBP 1,513 million (2021: GBP 1,230 million). Like-for-like sales in company-managed shops grew 17.8 percent year-on-year. Pre-tax profit increased 1.9 percent to GBP 148.3 million (2021: GBP 145.6 million).
