Schenefeld. (eb) Harry-Brot GmbH is expanding its Troisdorf plant. After a construction period of just 15 months, the large-scale baker has now put the first production line in the new part of the plant into operation. In future, products from the successful «Anno» range will also be manufactured on an additional 12,000 square meters of space. This is the company’s response to the steadily increasing demand.

«By expanding our site in Troisdorf, we are sending out a clear signal of our long-term commitment to the region. The production expansion will create more than 100 new jobs and thus strengthen the local economy,» says Norbert Lötz, Managing Director of Production and Technology. «We are very proud that the first baked goods are now coming out of the oven after an intensive construction phase.»
The investment of around 100 million euros will enable Harry-Brot to significantly expand its production capacities and further develop the company’s innovative strength. «The completion of the new plant section is a great success for our entire team and the Troisdorf region. We have been firmly rooted here for almost 20 years. With the new plant section, we are creating the basis for further growth and sustainable value creation,» adds Frank Kleiner, Managing Director Sales and Marketing.
