Hostess Brands: Gives Bonuses to Frontline Workers

(twnk) Hostess Brands Inc., one of the largest manufacturers and marketers of sweet baked goods in the United States including «Twinkies», «Ding Dongs», «Ho Hos», «Donettes» and a variety of new and classic treats, announced that it has recognized its nearly 2,000 bakery and distribution center employees with bonuses of up to USD 750 per employee to show its gratitude for their hard work, tenure and passion toward achieving the Hostess vision every day.

As a result of these efforts, Hostess Brands’ total recordable incident rate in 2021 was more than 75 percent better than the U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s industry average.

Hostess Brands operates six North American facilities to produce and distribute its products. Its facilities have received an average rating of A under the global quality and food safety audit standards of the British Retail Consortium. Hostess Brands facilities are operated in Chicago; Emporia, Kan.; Edgerton, Kan; Indianapolis; Columbus, Ga.; and Burlington, Ontario, Canada.
