Dusseldorf / DE. (ghm) «Change the world, it needs it …». Most of the more than 1’000 companies at iba 2009, which is taking place from 03 to 09 October in Dusseldorf, are taking Bertolt Brecht at his word. Companies invest a lot of time and money in developments, and companies turn to iba to inform the market about them immediately and in detail.
«Every three years iba makes an unrivalled contribution – it provides the groundbreaking ideas and inspiration for the future. There is no other fair with such a range of trends and innovations from all over the world that are equally relevant to small bakers, large concerns and industrial bakers. It is second to none for the baking and confectionery market», says Peter Becker, President of the Zentralverband (ZV) des Deutschen Baeckerhandwerks (German Bakers´ Association).
«iba is the ideal market place for positioning new products successfully on the market and testing them against the competition. This leading world trade fair is the innovation engine, where new products are steered onto the right track, because the points are set for the future». As is traditional, many products will be making their first appearance at iba 2009. In addition to technical product innovations, trade visitors can get up to speed on new and optimized ingredients.
