Munich / DE. (ghm) iba 2012 plays host to the world of baking. Over 680 companies from outside Germany will be flying the international flag in Munich. Companies from 58 different countries and from all five continents will be taking part, which means iba will represent the entire global baking market.
This international range of brands and technologies ensures that each business is sure to find the right solution, regardless of company size. From 16 to 21 September, guests can see 1’255 exhibitors on an area totalling 132’000 square metres. Approximately 80’000 bakers and confectioners from all over the world are expected to attend the trade fair during its six day run.
Most of the businesses exhibiting at iba come from Germany. Amongst the top 8 nations that follow are Italy, the Netherlands, France, the USA, Austria, Türkiye, Great Britain and China. As host, Germany will be held in high esteem by foreign companies as here, at the heart of Europe, each exhibitor will be able to access a multitude of strong export markets.
This is an important draw, especially in light of the unstable situation for some domestic markets, as a large number of companies are becoming increasingly reliant on exports. iba is a good place to start: the fair will be visited by specialists from around 150 countries who are looking to make an investment in machines and technologies that will help them save energy, optimise processes, manufacture high-quality products and boost their turnover over the next three years.
Furthermore, iba will once again include several country pavilions featuring international guests. Participants from Brazil, China, Great Britain and the USA have registered to take part in these stands.
