IBIE: blows wind in FRITSCH sails

Markt Einersheim / DE. (fr) FRITSCH managers were completely satisfied with this year´s International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE), which the German baking machine manufacturer attended from October 07th to 10th. Changing the venue from Las Vegas to Orlando had an especially positive effect on the fair, said Dieter Wolf from FRITSCH Marketing. «There were about 20 percent fewer visitors than at last year´s fair, but the 80 percent that came were as qualified and high-calibre as seldom before». And not afraid of making decisions either: A Chilean baker, for example, saw the exhibit of the automatic dough sheeter (FRITSCH Multiline) and the multi-faceted baking line (FRITSCH Multicut) for the first time in Orlando … and bought them both without as much as blinking an eye. But this is just one of the many deals and promising negotiations and preliminary contacts with new customers that attended FRITSCH´s participation in the fair. As Dieter Wolf sees it, the IBIE was a success at providing an international forum for the baking industry: In addition to the USA and Canada, visitors to the FRITSCH booth came from all corners of the globe, from places as few and far between as Japan, Australia and Great Britain. «The response to our booth and our program was very positive», Wolf is happy to report. In Orlando 2007, FRITSCH and its representatives were succeeded in showing very clearly the company´s position as a top-flight player in the international baking scene.
