Cologne. (ism) From February 01 to 04, the 39th International Sweets and Biscuits Fair (ISM) will feature two special exhibitions that will provide new momentum for the worldwide trade with confectionery and snack items. It will mark the first time that ISM exhibitors in Cologne will have the opportunity to present their innovations at the «New Product Showcase». Due to their great importance for the sector, new products are displayed here in a concentrated manner and within an attractive setting that provides buyers and journalists with an up-to-date overview of the season´s trends. The «Organic Avenue», which was first presented at the last ISM, will also be expanded and occupy a new, eye-catching location. All in all, about 1’600 suppliers from 70 countries will be taking part, including market leaders as well as numerous small and medium-sized companies. With a foreign share of more than 80 percent, ISM comprehensively covers the sector´s international range of products and services.
