Kraft Foods expects growth in sales in Romania

Bucharest / RO. (kf) Kraft Foods Inc. division Romania expects growth in sales of chocolate, biscuits and coffee during the second half of 2009, after the three segments registered growth during the first quarter of the year. The company is the leader of the Romanian chocolate market with brands such as Poiana and Milka. Also, Kraft Foods is present on the coffee market with Jacobs Kronung brand and on the biscuits market with LU brand. In 2008, the company posted sales of 340 million USD in Romania (about 243 million EUR) – local newspapers reported.
