Kwality Group: plans major investment in «Bread + More»

New Delhi / IN. (hbi) The Indian Kwality Group has plans to embark on a major expansion drive through its Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brands in the coming years. Apart from its most popular QSR brands – Kwality Express and Chopstick Express – the group plans to take its bakery and confectionary brand, Bread + More, to a pan-India level as well as to overseas markets.

Revealing the expansion plans, Chief Executive Officer Nitin Luthra says to Hospitality Biz India: «We will invest around 100 INR Crore this year on expansion. There are some aggressive growth plans this year, especially in the QSR division and the Bread + More section. We are looking at 15 to 20 new QSR outlets in the next one year».

Kwality Group operates Chopsticks (Oriental cuisine), Colours ‘N’ Spice (Indian and Mughlai), Tonic Bar + Lounge (resto-bar), Angeethi (live kitchen and barbeque) and Orient Room (banquets and events) in New Delhi. Apart from this, the company has 17 Bread + More outlets in Baroda, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Goa. «Packed breakfast for people on the move at Bread + More outlets has proved to be a huge success», Luthra says. «Barbie cakes, sugarless muffins and cookies are quite popular».

The group also manages restaurants at renowned clubs, including Gymkhanas in Delhi and Mumbai and Vasant Vihar Club in Delhi. Moreover, the group maintains a huge banqueting space with landscaping and a central commissary kitchen under the brand name Nirvana at Rajokri in Delhi.
