Le Duff: to expand business to more countries in Africa

(gld) Thirty new Brioche Dorée restaurants are scheduled to open over the next 10 years in 7 additional African countries: Cameroon, Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Ghana, Nigeria and Democratic Republic of the Congo. The first French-style fast food restaurant chain in French Groupe Le Duff has joined the «CFAO Club of Brands», which brings together 15 brands that wish to cater to an emerging category of consumers in sub-Saharan Africa. Brioche Dorée will be opening its new restaurants alongside fashion, beauty and toy brands in shopping malls and arcades with Carrefour in partnership with CFAO, the leading brand distributor in Africa.

30 openings scheduled over 10 years

The first opening took place in the Marcory shopping centre in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, in November 2015. Three other restaurants are scheduled to open in the near future in this country. In 2016, Brioche Dorée will open the first of 4 restaurants scheduled to open over 4 years in Cameroon, and in 2017, the first of 8 restaurants scheduled to open over 5 years in Nigeria. Openings will start in 2018 in Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Ghana and Democratic Republic of the Congo.
