Braunschweig. (nag) The Nordzucker AG Supervisory Board has appointed the long-serving Nordzucker manager Axel Aumüller (51) to the position of Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect. Aumüller, who was previously responsible for the Group´s Central Europe region, as well as being in charge of production in this region, now succeeds Dr. Martin Wienkenhöver (53) who joined the Executive Board in April 2008. Wienkenhöver steps down at his own request to take up a new position elsewhere.
