Fornetti: enters Bulgaria, builds second plant in Ukraine

Kecskemet / HU. (wib) Fornetti Frozen Bakers Products and Trading Ltd. opened its first exhibition bakery in Bulgaria last week and added four additional stores since then. The company also plans to complete the construction of a new plant in Ukraine in 18 months. According to «» (citing «Napi Gazdaság») the plant will have a monthly capacity of 600 tons. Works on Fornetti’s second Ukrainian production base already started, founder and owner Jozsef Palasti told the newspaper(s).

Real Good Food: expectations will be met

London / UK. (rgf) The Real Good Food Company PLC, which owns Hayden´s Bakeries in Devizes (Wiltshire), has announced that it is confident that current market expectations for full year profits will be met. In a six month trading statement to June 30th, the company said that sales in its bakery ingredients division had been slow, albeit in a traditionally quiet trading period and were «slightly down» on the previous year.

China Organic: announces milestone distribution

COA controls all aspects of the process from seeds to planting and processing, R+D and sales. The proprietary processing factory is 20.000 square meters and has an annual production capacity of 30.000 tons.

U.S.: Fast casuals continue growth trend

According to Technomic Information Services recently-released «Top 100 Fast Casual Chain Restaurant Report», the cluster experienced more than 14 percent annual growth in 2006, compared to roughly six percent for the U.S. chain-restaurant industry at large.
