Paulig: Demand for Tex Mex products continues to rise

Helsinki (FI) | Roeselare (BE). (pg) Paulig Group, Europe’s Tex Mex market leader, announces it will expand its potato chips division with an additional weekend shift starting in September 2023. To do this, they are looking for 24 additional employees.

In September 2022, Paulig opened another new tortilla factory in Roeselare. The factory produces tortillas for the brands Santa Maria, Poco Loco and for many private labels. The opening of the new factory created more than 60 new jobs in Roeselare in 2022.

Today, demand for Tex Mex products continues to rise. With the start of the weekend shift, Paulig can increase its production capacity and meet the growing demand for potato chips products even better.

«As Tex Mex market leader in Europe, we are excited to see the demand for our products increase. We look forward to increasing the production of our potato chips department and welcoming new colleagues to our team,» said Arnauld Demoulin, SVP Business Area Customer Brands. «The start-up of the weekend shift is an important step in the continued growth of our company and we look forward to serving our customers even better with high-quality chips products.»

Where in Belgium the company was primarily known as Poco Loco, it is now breaking out with a new recruitment campaign under the group name Paulig.
