Hamburg / DE. (hmc) The 90th anniversary Internorga is coming up – preparations are in full swing, with the exhibition site already fully booked and expectations running high. Hamburg will be the Internorga city from 11 to 16 March 2016, putting the spotlight on eating, drinking and accommodation away from home. More than 1’200 exhibitors will be there from some 25 countries, presenting their product innovations and trends for restaurants, hotels, community kitchens, baking and confectionery. The trade visitors can also look forward to an extensive supporting programme, with conferences and leading international experts addressing the major issues of the industry.
«Internorga is the original», says Bernd Aufderheide, President and CEO Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH, in an upbeat mood. «It has always been the leading show for the whole of the out-of-home market. Our team shows the highest commitment every year, dedicated to presenting all the industry trends and getting the perfect mix, and backing that with a strong supporting programme. The highlights of Internorga are copied by other trade fairs again and again – and in the run-up to the 90th Internorga that is once again the best evidence that our show has stayed young and still has its finger on the pulse of the industry».
Plenty of highlights at the 90th Internorga anniversary
And it’s not just the exhibitors who are putting on a great show next year – the supporting programme is also packed with highlights: the Internorga Gastro Startup Competition will be back with focused power and backing from professional chef and culinary expert Tim Mälzer and Leaders Club Concepts GmbH. The Craft Beer Arena gives a forum for even more brewers and an extensive supporting craft beer programme, following the outstanding success of this theme in 2015. International food news and snacking trends will be analysed by trend expert Karin Tischer of food + more at the successful Trendforum Pink Cube. And bakers and confectioners will find lots of new, exciting topics in the Blue Box and on the Back Stage. The Skywalk Table will be dedicated to the 90th anniversary, featuring all things Table Top and the creative presentation of tableware, glasses, cutlery and chairs. A Street Food Market will be set up for trade visitors and the general public in front of the Internorga exhibition site, as in previous years.
Conferences of the major industry sectors will give opportunities for inspiration and networking among the experts – the German Institutional Catering Congress and the International Foodservice Forum with all the leading international experts. The Internorga School Catering Forum will be held for the fifth time, focusing on food for children and adolescents.
Internorga – the leading trade show, industry highlight of the year, with a great tradition as the venue for first presentation of trends in all sectors of the out-of-home market. Make sure you are there!
