Sonneveld: Chief Executive to leave the company

Papendrecht / NL. (svg) Having been employed for the Dutch Sonneveld Group B.V. for ten years, Chief Executive and Managing Director Cees Hack decided to leave the company, effective 01 January 2015. During the past years far-reaching changes occurred in Papendrecht. In 2007, after fifty years, the Sonneveld family transferred the leadership to the new management. In 2010 the company became part of Norwegian Orkla ASA. Sonneveld Group is a strong and competent organisation with a financial healthy result. The Group has a leading role and is acknowledged in the area of baking ingredients in the West European market and beyond. «For me and my family it is time for a new challenge outside of Europe – as the Managing Director of AB Mauri for the Middle East / Africa region, based in Dubai», says Hack in a news release. Up to and including 31 December 2014, the outgoing CEO will remain responsible for Sonneveld under the articles of association. The selection procedure for a replacement is underway.
