Kiev / UA. (ami) As of August 12, Ukraine harvested 35 million tonnes of grains, declared Yuri Melnik, the Minister of Agrarian Policy. According to him, agrarians threshed early grains and leguminous plants throughout the harvesting area of over 90 percent. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy forecasts grain harvest in the current year within ranges of 42 to 43 million tonnes as opposed to 53,3 million tonnes last year (source: agrimarket.info).
