Kiev / UA. (ami) During January to July period of 2009, the growth of volumes of agricultural products output in Ukraine totaled 3,8 percent compared to the same period of the last year, declared the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine on August 10. At that, the production volumes in agricultural enterprises increased by 5,9 percent; in economies of the population – by 1.8 percent. During seven months of 2009, Vinnitsa oblast showed the highest growth of agricultural products output – 30,8 percent. Kirovograd oblast showed the highest fall of volumes of agricultural production – 10,9 percent; compared to the same period of 2008.
Crimea completed grain harvesting campaign
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of the Crimea, agrarians of the peninsula completed the harvesting campaign of early grains with production volumes of 1,58 million tonnes in bunker weight (source: agrimarket.info).
