Yum Brands: will cut several hundred jobs in the U.S.

Louisville / KY. (yb) Yum! Brands will cut several hundred jobs at Pizza Hut in Dallas (TX), at its Taco Bell headquarters in Irvine (CA), and at the company´s headquarters in Louisville (KY). According to US-American media Yum Brands said that layoffs will take place (at its Dallas headquarters) as the company focuses on turning corporate-owned stores into franchise-operated units. Pizza Hut confirmed the news after the Mayor of Louisville, Kentucky, said to local media that Yum Brands will be cutting or relocating «several hundred» white-collar jobs from its Louisville headquarters and moving other jobs to restaurant chain headquarters cities. Yum Brands also has the KFC, Long John Silver´s and A+W All-American Food brands under its umbrella. They are located in Louisville, Kentucky.
