Yum!: New Leadership Marks Growth in Brazilian Market

Restaurants International has appointed Andrea Rolim to the position of General Manager, Brazil overseeing the operations, marketing, training and overall leadership of the KFC and Pizza Hut business in the Brazilian market. Rolim brings a proven track record of retail success and a passion for Yum! Brands to her new role. «Brazil is one of our biggest opportunities for growth, so this position is very important to us», said Frederic Levacher, General Manager, Latin America and Caribbean. «Andrea´s knowledge of the Brazil market will be instrumental in driving our growth plans. Additionally, she´s a great developer of people, displaying principles that are consistent with the Yum! philosophies and culture. We are excited for her to join our team». Andrea joins Yum! from Grupo Pão de A?§úcar in São Paulo, where she has been working as a Business Director. With over 1,800 stores, Grupo Pão de A?§úcar is the biggest Brazilian and the second largest Latin America retailer. Earlier in her career, Rolim spent 17 years with Unilever in Brazil.
