Grupo Bimbo: CEO Invites to Add Willing Voices for Climate Change

Mexico City / MX. (gb) Climate change is one of the biggest environmental challenges facing our world today. It is estimated that by 2050, the world population will exceed nine billion people, which will require more water, energy and food, all of them compromised by climate change.

Daniel Servitje, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Grupo Bimbo S.A.B. de C.V., the leading baking company in the world, recognized that in order to minimize the impact of climate change, punctual actions from industry, government and civil society are required. Therefore, heading to the negotiations of the COP21 to be held next December in Paris, the executive invited to add willing voices with the goal of reaching a responsible agreement for the benefit of present and future generations.
