Alba / IT. (fg) Giovanni Ferrero, Chief Executive of Ferrero International S.A., categorically denies that the Company has received any acquisition proposals from another Group within the confectionery sector and confirms that Ferrero is not for sale to anyone. Italian newspaper «La Repubblica» reported on October 15, without citing any sources, that Swiss Nestle S.A. has submitted an offer to buy all or part of Ferrero Group, the maker of Nutella and Mon Cheri.
