Tampere / FI. (loy) Linkosuo Oy is a Finnish family-owned company dating back over 75 years and still under the ownership of the original founding family. The fourth generation is currently involved in the business operations. Linkosuo Oy is the parent company of Linkosuon Leipomo Oy (bakery) and Linkosuon Kahvila Oy (café). Linkosuo Oy is responsible for overall decision-making concerning the bakery and the café as well as for drafting extensive operational strategies for the companies. In 2010, the net sales of Linkosuo totaled 22 million EUR with 200 staff. The Linkosuo bakery supplies packaged bakery products in Southern Finland as well as crispy breads throughout Finland. The Linkosuo bakery is the third largest bakery in Finland. Linkosuo is the market leader in crispy breads in Finland.
Working together with Alidi Group
Now Russian Alidi Group has become the first distributor of Linkosuo in Russia. The Contract with Linkosuo differs from other contracts, Alidi said in an news release – the group works as a distributor and importer directly with the producer from Finland. The process of preparation for entering the Russian market took much time, Alidi provided the producer with full support. Distribution of goods of the Linkosuo company started in St. Petersburg, and then in Nizhny Novgorod.
