Austin / TX. (ssc) Sandwich chain Schlotzsky´s Ltd. – subsidiary of Atlanta based franchisor Focus Brands Inc. – wants to open ten locations in the Nashville area within the next five years. The Nashville expansion is part of a national growth strategy that calls for opening 50 restaurants per year, according to a release.
Schlotzsky´s has more than 350 locations in 35 states and six foreign countries. The company has three locations in the Nashville area. Including a franchise fee of 30.000 USD it takes 400.000 to 550.000 USD to own and operate a sandwich restaurant. Focus Brands is the franchisor and operator of over 1.750 ice cream stores, bakeries, sandwich shops, and cafes in the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and 33 foreign countries under the brand names Carvel, Cinnabon, Schlotzsky´s, and the franchisor of Seattle’s Best Coffee on military bases and in certain international markets.
