(ami) From the beginning of 2009/2010 MY (July 01, 2009), Ukraine exported over 3’600 thousand tonnes of grains, including 1’930 thousand tonnes in August, declared the press-cutting service of Ukrainian agrarian confederation. During the first two months of the new marketing year, the country sold over 350 thousand tonnes of oilseeds. In July grain exports totaled nearly 1’700 thousand tonnes. Previously, Sergey Stoyanov, the general director of Ukrainian agrarian confederation, forecasted the export volumes of Ukrainian grains at the level of 1600-1700 thousand tonnes (source: agrimarket.info).
